What is the purpose of the Cordova Economic Development Authority?

The Cordova Economic and Industrial Development Authority develop, implement and manage programs and initiatives that enhance the quality of life throughout Cordova by addressing a variety of needs in our communities and providing assistance for infrastructure improvements, parks and playgrounds, economic development, workforce readiness, and homelessness prevention.

How Can I Serve on CEIDA?

CEIDA Board members are appointed by the Cordova City Council for a term of 6 years. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please contact City Hall at 205-483-9266 to obtain an application or complete the application online under our forms tab,

Director of Economic Development

Renee Sides, Director of Economic Development for the City of Cordova. Renee is not a native of Cordova but has called Cordova her home for over 13 years. Renee is married and has four children and four grandchildren.
